Street light of the town is being managed by the Bhadrak Municipality. Illumination and beautification of municipal area are maintained by Bhadrak Municipality. About 6031 nos. of electric poles & fittings are managed by this Municipality. Besides, some High Mast lights are provided in different places like, Kacheri Bazar, Hazari Nagar Chhak, College Chhack,  Women’s College road, New Bus Stand, Head Post Office Chhak etc. Light with low consumption of energy have been provided in the town. All the localities of the town are provided with LED lights. In festive occasions special efforts are being taken for better lighting.
All the possible steps are being taken for repair and maintenance of the light with the assistance of M/S EESL Ltd.  High rate of electric consumption bill is a burden on the Municipality, whereas taxation on street light is low.
